Boss - ???
This is the third major boss fight in KreisReise (and if anyone knows the name for this thing、 or if it even has one、 the information would be much appreciated)、 a metroidvania-style action platformer with a very interesting perspective.
This boss doesn’t pull any punches and resulted in more than a few deaths on my part. However、 it is a terrific fight as it has three distinct phases (it hits a new phase at 2/3 and 1/3 health) and really shows off the circular Odin Sphere-esque stage design. On top of this、 the boss’s lofty position encourages players to utilize their newest weapon、 the Cross、 which functions quite a bit like the cross-boomerangs from Castlevania and is just as much fun to use. The only real downside to this fight is it’s not particularly colorblind-friendly as anything red can be dodged by dashing or sliding while anything blue can’t be passed through.
